Improve the condition and circulation of your indoor air, and breathe easier.
Although they’re not visible, there are plenty of particles inside your home’s air that could be affecting your everyday living and breathing. Dust mites, mold spores, bacteria, pet dander, and pollen can build up in your home’s ductwork over time. If you’ve ever experienced a dry cough, parched skin, or allergic irritations, it may be time to look into some indoor air quality products.

Air Handlers
An air handler is the fan on your heating or AC system that moves the air. In conjunction with your heating or cooling system, it helps condition and circulate air through your home’s ductwork using different components within its system, such as UV germicidal lamps, HEPA filters, humidifiers, and heating and cooling coils. Working in unison, these components can contribute a great deal to improving your home’s overall indoor air quality.
We recommend the Carrier® brand, but can install and repair any brand or model. Below is a sample air handler that we recommend:
- Carrier Infinity® Air Handler

- Energy recovery ventilator (ERV)
- Humidifiers for precise indoor climate conditioning
- Carrier Comfort Network® controls with sensor options
- Ducted or free return connections
- Maximum space utilization
- One year parts warranty
- Extended warranty packages available

Air Cleaners
An air cleaner is an effective solution to getting rid of airborne contaminants such as dust, pollen, pet dander, and mold spores. It works especially well at removing cigar and cigarette smoke and odors. Air cleaners use a two-step process. The first step purifies the air by oxidation, which greatly reduces contaminants and odors. The second step is ionization, which attaches electrical charges to the airborne particles and forces the particles them to quickly drop out of the air in the breathing environment and surrounding rooms. Because of this, a single air cleaner can often be sufficient for an entire home.
As the most efficient ozone-ionizer air cleaner on the market, the Aprilaire Model 5000 will remove 94% of particles that are 0.3 microns and larger.
While we recommend the Aprilaire air cleaner brand, we can install and repair any brand or model.

- • For over 20 years, Aprilaire whole-house air cleaners were sold under the Space-Gard brand name. A testament to their superior quality, the millions of those Space-Gard whole-house air cleaners are still in service today.
Air Purifiers
An air purifier uses High Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters, which are very efficient at removing extremely small particles from small volumes of air. The HEPA filters capture a great number of contaminants, making it easier for your loved ones, especially those with asthma or allergies, to breathe easier.
We recommend Carrier® and Guardian® brands, but can install and repair any brand or model.
Below is a sample air purifier system that we recommend:
Carrier GAPAB InfinityTM
- Ultra high filtration efficiency equivalent to MERV 15
- Captures and kills airborne viruses, bacteria and mold spores
- Easy to replace media cartridge
- Cabinet supports up to 400 lb
- Simplified installation
- State-of-the-art, exclusive technology
Ultraviolet Air Treatment
Zap indoor pollutants quickly and effectively with a Carrier ultraviolet air treatment system.
In addition to other indoor air purification methods that use filters, you may want to consider installing an ultraviolet (UV) air treatment system, which is installed inside a duct to keep your air conditioning coils clean. UV treatment works essentially by preventing bacteria from growing on your cooling coils.
Bacteria and other pollutants are “zapped” as they pass by. As you might imagine, UV treatment is commonly used in hospitals, laboratories, and commercial kitchens. Overall, a UV system is an easy add-on to the comfort system in your home.
We recommend the Carrier® brand, but can install and repair any brand or model.
